Managing Children

You can add multiple children to your Sensible account, each with their own profile, link code, and set of devices.

Adding a child​

  1. Go to your dashboard at getsensible.app
  2. Click "Add Child"
  3. Enter your child's name (this is just a label for your reference)
  4. A unique link code is generated automatically
  5. Use this code to link the extension on your child's device

Each child gets a unique link code used to connect Chrome extensions to their profile.

  • Codes are case-sensitive
  • Codes expire after 7 days — generate a new one if it expires
  • You can regenerate a code at any time (this doesn't disconnect existing devices)
  • When you regenerate a code, the old code stops working

Per-child settings​

Each child profile has:

  • Name — The label you gave them
  • Visibility mode — Controls what you can see (full, alerts only, or hybrid)
  • Linked devices — All Chrome browsers connected to this child
  • Conversations — Their captured AI conversations
  • Alerts — Safety flags specific to their conversations

Multiple children​

Conversations and alerts are organized per-child, so you can easily see who said what. Each child's profile is completely separate — they have their own link codes, devices, and conversation history.

Removing a child​

When you remove a child profile:

  • All their conversation data is deleted
  • All linked devices are disconnected
  • All alerts for that child are removed
  • This action cannot be undone
