Installing the Chrome Extension

The Sensible Chrome extension is what captures your child's AI conversations. Here's how to install it.

Prerequisites

• Google Chrome browser (desktop only)
• A Sensible parent account with at least one child added
• A link code for your child (from your dashboard)

Installation steps

Install in your child's profile

Make sure you're in your child's Chrome profile, not your own. The extension only monitors the profile where it's installed.

1. Switch to your child's Chrome profile
   • Click the profile icon in the top-right corner of Chrome
   • Select your child's profile
2. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for "Sensible"
3. Click "Add to Chrome"
4. Click "Add Extension" when prompted

After installation

The Sensible icon will appear in Chrome's toolbar. If you don't see it:

1. Click the puzzle piece icon in the toolbar
2. Find Sensible in the list
3. Click the pin icon to keep it visible

Next step: Link the extension to your child's profile using a link code.

Chrome profiles matter

The extension only captures conversations in the Chrome profile where it's installed. This means:

• Your profile is not affected
• Other family members' profiles are not affected
• Only the child's profile where you installed the extension is monitored

If you accidentally install it in your own profile, simply uninstall it and reinstall in the correct profile.
