Linking a Device

After installing the extension, you need to link it to your child's profile using a link code.

  1. Sign in to your dashboard at getsensible.app
  2. Go to the child you want to link
  3. Copy the link code (e.g., ABC12345)

If the code has expired, click "Regenerate Code" to get a new one.

Linking the extension​

  1. On your child's computer, in their Chrome profile, click the Sensible extension icon
  2. Enter the link code
  3. Click "Connect"
  4. You should see a confirmation: "Connected to [Child's Name]"

After linking:

  • The extension icon should show a small green indicator
  • Go to a supported AI platform and send a test message
  • Check your dashboard — the conversation should appear within 1-2 minutes
  • Codes are case-sensitive
  • Codes expire after 7 days
  • Each child has their own unique code
  • You can use the same code to link multiple devices to one child
  • Regenerating a code invalidates the old one (but doesn't disconnect already-linked devices)

Unlinking a device​

To disconnect a device, you can either:

  • Revoke it from the dashboard — Go to the child's profile, find the device, click "Revoke"
  • Uninstall the extension — Remove it from Chrome on the child's device

Revoking from the dashboard is preferred because it immediately invalidates the device token.
