Severity Levels
When a conversation is flagged, it's assigned a severity level. Here's what each level means and how you should respond.
Levels at a glance

| Low | Blue | Mildly concerning or worth noting | Review at your convenience |
| Medium | Yellow | Moderately concerning content | Review soon, consider a conversation |
| High | Orange | Significantly concerning | Review immediately, talk to your child |
| Critical | Red | Serious safety concern | Act immediately |
None
The conversation was analyzed and no safety concerns were found. This is the most common result. These conversations won't generate alerts.
Low
Something was mildly notable but likely not a problem. Examples:
- A child asking about a sensitive historical event
- Mild frustration expressed in a prompt
- General curiosity about mature topics at an age-appropriate level
What to do: Review when you have time. Often no action is needed.
Medium
Content that warrants attention. Examples:
- Questions about drugs or alcohol
- Discussions about peer pressure or social conflicts
- Age-inappropriate content requests that the AI handled responsibly
What to do: Review the full conversation. Consider bringing it up naturally in conversation with your child.
High
Significantly concerning content. Examples:
- Expressions of persistent sadness or hopelessness
- Detailed questions about dangerous activities
- Conversations about being bullied or bullying others
- Requests for harmful content that the AI may have partially addressed
What to do: Review immediately. Have a direct but calm conversation with your child. Consider whether professional support might be helpful.
Critical
Serious safety concerns requiring immediate attention. Examples:
- Direct expressions of suicidal thoughts or self-harm intent
- Explicit threats of violence
- Evidence of abuse or exploitation
- Sharing personal information with AI in a dangerous context
What to do: Act immediately. Talk to your child. If there's an immediate safety concern, contact appropriate emergency services or professionals.
